Cave Creek Bee Company was founded on a simple idea: produce honest, high-quality honey the right way, and keep it local. What began in 2017 as a small backyard hobby has grown into a thriving beekeeping operation serving communities across Middle Tennessee.
Today, Cave Creek Bee Company manages hives across Maury, Marshall, and Bedford counties, allowing our bees to forage from a wide variety of native plants and wildflowers. This regional diversity gives our honey a rich, balanced flavor that reflects the land it comes from.

Meet Jody Pritchett, the dedicated beekeeper behind it all.
Cave Creek Bee Company is owned and operated by Jody Pritchett, a dedicated beekeeper based in Unionville, Tennessee. Jody began beekeeping with just a couple of hives, driven by curiosity and a respect for the natural process behind honey production.
Over the years, that curiosity turned into commitment. With hands-on care and constant learning, Jody steadily expanded the operation to over 100 hives, with plans to grow to approximately 200 hives in the coming years — always prioritizing bee health and honey quality over rapid growth.
Every hive is personally managed, harvested, and monitored to ensure consistency and purity.

From Hive to Jar
Unlike mass-produced honey, Cave Creek Bee Company honey is harvested locally and blended intentionally. Honey is collected from each hive location and brought back to Jody’s honey house in Unionville, where it is carefully processed and bottled.
Blending honey from multiple counties creates a smooth, well-rounded flavor profile while maintaining the unique character of Middle Tennessee honey. The result is a product that’s as consistent as it is authentic.
